Dying a pink streak in my hair :)?

just bought a smartbeauty home kit - anyone ever used them?

anyone got any tips?

i've never dyed my hair before!

it's very long... almost waist length - will one box be enough to do one long streak?

any general hair dying tips? i'm nervous :P

Well i used the purple one

and they turned pinky red then ginger then blonde

but ive dyed my hair loads so i think the dye on my hair reacted

if youve only done your hair a few times you should be fine

pink may be different

i think youd be alright

just do it and if it doesnt work try using directions hair dye they come in little pots in all shades but you have to bleach your hair first

but if yours is blonde then it should withour bleach

I think that before you do anything, you should go get an edgy, punk hairstyle with side swept bangs. It doesn't have to be short. Mid-back would be fine. Dye the streak and make sure that it goes through your bangs. You're gonna look like a total hottie!

Ah, I did much the same thing. Same length hair as well :)

I got my friend to help me, I didn't trust her a great deal though and so I fashioned a dress from a bin liner. I wrapped up my piece hair in foil so the dye wouldn't dye everything in sight, because I swear that's the dye's ultimate goal.
