What are the best hair vitamins out there, i want people who tried please.?

Over a month ago, I had cut my hair super short (a little longer than a pixie cut). I didn't want to but I felt I had to because I had straight-permed which caused disastrous results. Anyways, I did a lot of research online regarding hair vitamins. There were a lot out there and some were cheap and some were expensive. I was thinking about purchasing Hairtopia but I couldn't see myself spending $50 for just a months worth. Besides, I found their supplement facts were the same as buying a simple multi-vitamin. And that's what I did, based on the vitamins and minerals of Hairtopia (Step 1) and their % daily value (nearly the same) I bought Women's Exclusive Formula multi-vitamin and because Hairtopia comes with a Step 2 (which is all amino acids), I bought Amino 1000. Both of these supplements were bought at Vitamin World (I was able to get buy 1 get 1 free for both products!). And just for added vitamins and minerals, I also bought GNC's Ultra Nourish-Hair. The results: it has been a little over 3 weeks and my hair has grown over 3/4 of an inch, not quite 1 inch. The only downfall is the size of the tablets. It may be hard to swallow for some. For me, I drink milk to help it go down easier. Hope this helps. Also, go to Hairboutique.com, they have a great forum for hair vitamins. That's were I did most of the research.
