You can remove locks. There are several products out there however it does take time and have someone help you. Also there are salons that will remove them for you for a price of $200.00 and higher depending on your hair. But yes locks can be removed with out cutting your hair. Report It

the only way to remove dredlocks is to Shave your hair off and start over agian. sorry that's really the only way I know of.

You can't remove them the hair is "locked" together. You need to cut them off otherwise they will have to stay.

I have been putting them in for at least 5 years and a Cosmetologist for 12. They need to be cut at least in half, (off), then you may be able to comb the rest out and you will experience lotsa hair loss...this is completely normal, but the only way to keep some length. cut if off. unrelaxed hair tends to lock-up, and theres not much you can do about that especially if it was intentional and all over.

Must clipped them off. Can't comb them out.
