I want to apply my own hair highlights. Can someone tell me how to do this? Give me some tips.?

I am sitting with a hairdresser while I write this and she says that you should NOT do it yourself because in the end you will spend more when you will HAVE TO go to a hairdresser to fix what problem you caused yourself. If you have a friend that gets highlights and is happy with her hair, go to her hairdresser. Good Luck!

i dunno i also reccomend going to a hairdresser but i dunno alot of my friends do it themselves but they have someone else do it well like... a best friend but someone u wont hate if they screw up

if you don't know how to do it ... go to someone who does ... you'll save yourself a lot of heartache ... after watching a pro you MIGHT attempt it at home ...

draw how you want it to look like, show it do a barber, s/he will do it for u. i wouldn't recommend doing it yourself unless you r a barber...

STOP YOURSELF PLEASE!!!! That would be the equivalent of doing surgery on yourself. Go to a professional. Never mind that you will have to pay more but that is the price of beauty!
