Need some tips and tricks for styling my three-year-old daughter's hair.?

Her hair is very fine and it is difficult to style, put in ponytails, braid, etc. If anyone has any great suggestions or secrets to styling baby hair, I would love to know them!

If cutting some "light" bangs would help you can do that. You can trim the ends of the hair just a little, so they're even. Other than that, you may have to get some of those baby barrettes (some can be held in with velcro - they're made that way) and put one or two in her hair.

Head bands made for babies may keep her hair tucked behind her ears. Some of them stretch over the head, and others are just very narrow regular headbands.

When its appropriate and when you go out get her an oversized hat that looks particularly cute and gives her some "style".

As she gets closer to four or a little older she'll get more hair. Three-year-olds often don't have much hair if they have fine hair.

my daughter has fine hair too i could only do it when it was wet and the ONLY thing i could do was split the sides and only put the top in pigtails ya know like half up and half down. Then the only bands i could use that didn't hurt her were sold at faimly dollar and they are tiny ouchless bands in diff colors. hope this helps

A toughie, I know. I have found that putting just a dab of hair gel will give it just enough texture to hold the barrettes in place longer. It also works with headbands. You only need a very little bit. Some people may object to hair products so young, but truthfully, when you are exhausted from fixing it all day every time it falls, a little bit of gel is harmless. Try it - you'd be amazed how little can really give it just a bit of "grip." Good Luck.
