if i were you i would decolorize your hair aka bleach it because the color is so dark and if your hair is really black bleach where you want the red and then die your whole head because it won't show up in the darker areas if you need to bleach it.

If you want a dramatic effect yes...otherwise the ends will just have a red tint to them which will be barely noticable...I'd go to a hairdresser and get it done though x

yes and you will have to keep on touching up the red till it takes. Reds are the hardest to keep in the hair and the hardest to completely get out of the hair (largest color molecule). Ask the stylist to give you a price for touch ups before you get it done because it could get super expensive. Good luck
