How to deal with the new growth of coloured hair?

Should i have to go to the salon or are there other solutions that are inexpensive(something that can be done at home?) My hair tips are grey now....hardly a week after they are coloured :(

There are special hair colouring kits which are marketed as "root touch up kits". As the name suggests, you are able to restore the dye in your roots without having to colour all of your hair, which is a lot more time-efficient and convenient. Just be sure to match the colours correctly and condition your hair to prevent drying :)

I dont think its sensible to use home colouring kits with salon colours - you either have to go one way or the other - if your hair is really fast growing, and you want to stick with the salon colours then look for a style that doesnt show off the roots so much - otherwise if you are going to colour yourself, remember that home coloured hair can look very flat if it is all one colour - there are some great products that you can use which have highlights as well - good luck!
